Mary Ann Rocco began her career in the pension industry in 1981 with a well-known third-party pension administration firm. After several years working in plan document installations and third-party administration, she joined an actuarial consulting firm. In 1987, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, a deep understanding of TPA firms, and a desire to deliver pension actuarial services that go beyond the ordinary, Mary Ann founded her own actuarial consulting practice. For more than 35 years, she has provided actuarial consulting services exclusively to TPAs.
Mary Ann was instrumental in designing, planning, and orchestrating the original College of Pension Actuaries (COPA) Actuarial Symposium. Following COPA’s merger with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), the organization became known as ASPPA’s College of Pension Actuaries (ACOPA), and later the American Society of Enrolled Actuaries (ASEA). Mary Ann served as ACOPA President in 2010. She was awarded the Fellowship designation under the American Society of Enrolled Actuaries in 2024 and received the Edward E. Burrows Distinguished Achievement Award in 2025.
Mary Ann is currently a member of the ASEA Government Affairs Committee and is a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the country.
